This is what the desk knows about the homes, the facilities and the price. ## The homes Aqua Vita is a single tower of fourteen floors with ninety-eight apartments, in two- and three-bedroom plans. According to the developer, every room in every plan looks at the ocean. Each home has a private balcony. Living and dining share an open-plan space. The fit-out is where much of the value lies. The kitchen, which the catalogue calls a pantry, has fixtures and racking imported from Germany and Corian counter tops. Bedrooms have built-in cupboards. The attached bathrooms use imported sanitaryware, taps and showers selected to use less water. The developer also planned to commission artwork for the apartments from local artists and craftsmen. Two homes have passed through Binga, and they give a sense of the sizes: - A 2+1 on a high floor, 1,100 sq ft, two bedrooms and three bathrooms, fully furnished. Listed through Binga at $1,800 a month (asking, August 2026). It has since been let. - A 3+1 on the first floor, 1,427 sq ft, three bedrooms and four bathrooms, fully furnished, with a jacuzzi, wooden parquet and double-glazed windows. It was sold, not let, so it is not a rent guide. It does show what a furnished home here can look like. ## What the building provides The facilities are in the club house next to the tower: a 22-metre swimming pool, a gym and a large hall for business meetings or private functions. The developer's stated aim was apartments with the feel of a hotel, and the club house is where that aim reaches the tenant. The desk has not verified parking, backup power, security arrangements or the building's management company at Aqua Vita. Those are standard questions for any viewing. The concierge will get the answers from the owner before you commit. ## Reading the price The $1,800 listing gives a point of reference. It was for a furnished 2+1 on a high floor, priced in dollars. That is typical of the premium and expatriate segment in Greater Malé, where rents are often quoted in USD. The wider market is quoted in rufiyaa, at a pegged rate of roughly 15.4 MVR to the dollar, so $1,800 is about MVR 27,700. That sits inside the band the concierges quote for one- to four-bedroom homes, from roughly MVR 15,000 to MVR 55,000 and beyond. Furnishing is the first thing that moves a rent. Fully furnished, move-in-ready flats carry a premium, and both homes Binga has handled here were furnished to that level. Floor and view come next, and in a building designed around the view, a higher floor is likely to matter. One listing is not a market, and the desk does not treat it as one. Ask the concierge for today's figures before you set a budget.
