# Bayfancy reaches its 17th floor and shows what it will hold: pool, gym, play area and co-working

> The day after its 17th-floor slab was poured, Bayfancy set out plans for the whole level as residents' amenities, from an infinity pool and gym to a children's play area, reading room and co-working space, and showed a double-height lobby design.

Over the summer of 2025 Bayfancy Residence kept climbing:
- **12th floor:** 30 July;
- **13th floor:** 9 August;
- **14th floor:** 19 August;
- **15th floor:** 26 August;
- **16th floor:** 4 September;
- **17th floor:** 14 September.

The day after the 17th slab, the developer showed what that floor is for.

## Level 17: one floor for residents

Bayfancy has given the whole 17th floor to shared amenities:
- an **infinity pool** with loungers and shaded seating;
- a **fitness centre** and **yoga studio**;
- a **children's play area**;
- a **billiards lounge**, a **barbecue terrace** and **outdoor dining**;
- a **reading room**;
- **co-working space and meeting rooms**;
- a **multipurpose hall** for gatherings and events.

The developer says the floor will have automated lighting and climate control.

## The lobby

A month earlier Bayfancy had shown its lobby design:
- a **double-height** space with a ceiling over six metres;
- a concierge desk, a seating area and a **vertical garden** wall;
- lighting that shifts in warmth through the day.

## Why it matters

Amenity floors are a selling point in every new Hulhumalé building. Bayfancy has given its amenities a whole floor. Buyers should note that all of it depends on running costs being covered. Ask how the service charge will be set before you buy.
