# Is your building on HDFC's list? The 15 approved projects

> HDFC finances flats only in projects it has approved. Its list has 15, from Bayfancy and Kandoofaa Residence to The Rise, the Rainbow projects, Centreal and SJ Creek. The full list, and how a developer gets on it.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) says it plainly: *"projects should be awarded to a real estate project that is approved by HDFC."* No approval, no HDFC home purchase financing.

HDFC's quarterly report for June 2026 also shows **Kandoofa Ecoplex** being financed, though it is not yet in the website directory.

## How a project gets approved

The developer submits:
- the project details and costs;
- the public sale announcement;
- the drawings, schedules and approvals;
- the bill of quantities.

## Approved does not mean guaranteed

Approval means HDFC will lend to buyers there. It is not a promise about when the building will be finished. HDFC's own quarterly reports show **several completion dates moving later**; see *What HDFC's quarterly reports show about off-plan projects*.

## Ask before you book

1. Is the project on HDFC's list **today**?
2. What does HDFC release, and **when**?
3. Can the **grace period** (12 to 24 months) cover the rest of construction?
