Marina View is a building whose appeal is ease. Batch Construction's mixed-use block on Fithiroanu Magu in Hulhumalé holds 70 homes over ten floors. Its developer's description dwells less on architecture than on convenience: what is inside the building, and what is a short walk away.

Seventy homes in a single block is a modest scale for Hulhumalé. It means fewer neighbours per lift and a lobby where faces become familiar. For a tenant who has lived in larger towers, that intimacy is often what they notice first.

What is inside

The developer lists a spa, a gym, an on-site restaurant, lift access, a children's play area, and 24/7 security with CCTV. A spa is unusual in a residential building in Greater Malé, and it changes the character of the shared spaces: part of the building is designed for rest, not only exercise.

The street

The catalogue describes Fithiroanu Magu as one of Hulhumalé's most accessible streets, and places the building within a five-minute walk of the ferry terminal and close to Tree Top Hospital. For a tenant who commutes to Malé by sea, or a family who wants a hospital nearby, the location is the point.
