A day at home in Aafaluge, as it is planned
A school run on foot, a balcony over Buruzu Magu or a quiet room at the back, and a city where everything is close. The day the developer has designed for families in Machangoalhi, ahead of a handover planned for late 2027 to early 2028.

Aafaluge will not have residents until its handover, which the developer schedules for late 2027 to early 2028. What it does have is a clear idea of who it is for: families who want a three-bedroom home in the middle of Malé. This is the day the building has been designed around, drawn from the developer's plans and the concierges' knowledge of the capital.
Morning in Machangoalhi
The day is built around the school run. The catalogue places Aafaluge a few seconds' walk from Ahmadhiyya International School, and the developer says the building is aimed at families as well as investors. If that holds, the morning is simple: breakfast in a modular kitchen, down in one of the two lifts, through a lobby with round-the-clock security and CCTV, and on foot to the school gate.
Malé makes the rest of the morning easy too. The concierges describe the capital as dense and walkable, with everything within fifteen minutes. Offices, ministries, the main hospital and most of the schools are here. A parent who drops the children off can be at a desk in Malé without crossing the bridge.
Front or back
Where you spend the day at home depends on which side of the building you live on. The front units, Type A, have private balconies over Buruzu Magu, which the developer describes as one of the city's most accessible roads. That is the place for morning tea with the street waking up below.
The rear units, Type B, face away from the road. The developer describes them as quieter and more secluded. For someone who works from home, or has a baby who naps in the afternoon, the back of the building may be the better choice. It is worth deciding before you view, because the two types have the same interior finish but a very different sound.
Evening
The catalogue says supermarkets and pharmacies are close by, so the evening shop is an errand on foot. Back home, the modular kitchen and the three bedrooms are laid out for a family, and the bathrooms are fitted with branded sanitaryware. The developer says the layouts were arranged to maximise daylight and air.
The trade-off in Malé, as the concierges put it, is convenience for space. Aafaluge makes that trade-off plainly. It offers a central address and three bedrooms, not a pool or a garden. The catalogue does not list either, and the desk does not assume them.
Who it will suit
Families relocating to Malé who want the school within walking distance. A professional couple who want the capital on their doorstep and a spare room. Anyone who prefers to walk rather than drive.
It will suit people less well if they need a flat now. The first homes are not expected until late 2027 at the earliest, and the desk has not seen a rental listing for the building. The Binga concierge team can suggest comparable homes in Malé that are available today.
