What makes FW Residence beautiful to come home to

Water on one side, a park on the other, and homes that open to both. What a tenant notices first about FW Residence, from the corner glazing to the long balconies over the channel.

FW Residence

Most buildings in Hulhumalé have a view. FW Residence has a setting. It stands on the channel that divides Phase 1 from Phase 2, and the homes Binga has listed there are arranged so that the water, the bridge and the park come into the rooms rather than sitting at the end of a corridor. For a tenant, that is where the beauty of the place begins.

The channel, framed

The developer's own description is simple: spacious homes overlooking the channel. The listings fill in the picture. The twelfth-floor corner home Binga is letting looks out over the lagoon, the arched bridge and the open sea, on the side of the building that takes the sunset. Evening light arrives across water there, which softens everything it touches: the floors, the sofa, the white of the kitchen island.

On the other face of the building, the eleventh-floor three-bedroom looks the other way, towards Central Park and the sunrise. The same building gives two very different days depending on which side you choose, and the concierge will ask which one you want before shortlisting.

Glass on two sides

The corner homes are the ones people remember. The twelfth-floor unit is dual-aspect, with floor-to-ceiling glazing, so the living room reads as one open space of sitting, dining and island kitchen with daylight from two directions. A room lit from two sides feels larger than its square footage and stays bright later into the afternoon. It is a quality photographs rarely capture and viewings always reveal.

The second-floor corner home makes its case differently. It is low enough to feel connected to the street and the trees, and its open-plan living, dining and kitchen flow straight out to a large wrap-around balcony. In a climate where the best hours are the early morning and the evening, a balcony you can actually furnish is not an extra. It is a second living room.

Rooms that are quietly well planned

Beauty in an apartment is also a matter of what is out of sight. The homes listed here come with three bathrooms, a separate laundry area and, in the twelfth-floor corner, a dedicated laundry room and a store. That means no drying rack in the living room and no vacuum cleaner behind the sofa. The bedrooms in the second-floor home have fitted wardrobes, ceiling fans and split-unit air-conditioning, so each room can be cooled on its own terms. Three ensuite-served bedrooms in the corner unit mean a family, or three colleagues sharing, each keep their own space.

A building that looks after itself

The shared spaces carry the rest. The catalogue lists a gym, a swimming pool, a children's play area, lifts, a restaurant, a café and a convenience store in the building, with 24/7 security, CCTV, access-card entry and an intercom. Garbage disposal is on every floor, a small detail that keeps corridors clean and lobbies calm. Parking is provided for cars or motorbikes.

None of that is decorative, but it shapes how the building feels to come home to: a lobby you enter with a card, a lift up to a quiet floor, and a door that opens onto water or trees.

Seeing it

Three homes are currently listed through Binga: the twelfth-floor corner at $2,700 a month, the second-floor corner with the big balcony at $2,500 a month, and the eleventh-floor three-bedroom at $2,400 a month, all fully furnished and all asking rents as of September 2026. Visit each at the hour you would usually be home. The light is the point.
