What makes Oceanfront Residence beautiful to come home to
Two thirteen-storey towers on Fithuroanu Magu, spaced for the breeze, with two infinity pools, garden terraces and balconies that look across the marina. The design of Oceanfront Residence, as the sources describe it.

Oceanfront Residence is two towers of thirteen storeys on Fithuroanu Magu in Hulhumalé, 145 homes in all, and the developer's brief promises panoramic ocean views. What makes it a good place to come home to is quieter than that promise: towers set apart so the air can move, two infinity pools, garden terraces, and flats that open onto balconies facing the water.
Two towers and the gap between them
The first thing the catalogue says about the design is not about marble or glass. It is about air. The brief describes a layout that "ensures excellent ventilation between towers and apartments", and in Hulhumalé that is a practical kind of beauty: a breeze through the living room in the late afternoon, and a flat that does not need the air-conditioning running from breakfast onwards.
The two towers are not twins inside. Tower A is the more varied of the pair, with 21 three-bedroom-plus homes, 32 two-bedroom-plus homes, four one-bedroom-plus homes and six penthouses, each penthouse with its own private plunge pool. Tower B is simpler and more family-shaped: 55 three-bedroom homes and 33 two-bedrooms. A building with that spread has a certain texture. Couples, families and the occasional penthouse household share the same lifts and the same pool deck, and the lobby does not feel like a corridor of identical doors.
The water, from the balcony
The name does a lot of work, so it is worth being precise about what the sources show. The catalogue speaks of ocean views. The units Binga has listed here speak of the marina: one furnished three-bedroom let this year was described with several private balconies framing views across Hulhumalé Marina and the green coastline around it. Which view a given home has depends on the tower, the side and the floor, and the concierge will say which is which before a viewing rather than after.
What does not change from flat to flat is the role of the balcony. In the homes Binga has handled, it is part of the room rather than an afterthought. Open-plan living and dining lead straight out to it, so the view is there while you cook, while you eat and while you sit down at the end of the day.
Shared spaces with some generosity
The facilities are doubled where many buildings would stop at one. The developer lists two infinity pools and two fully equipped gyms, alongside garden terraces and a kids club. An infinity pool is a design decision as much as an amenity: the edge disappears, and the water in the pool runs visually into the water beyond. Garden terraces soften a building that would otherwise be all concrete and glass, and they give residents somewhere green to sit that is not their own balcony.
Below ground there is basement parking, which keeps cars out of sight. On every floor there is a garbage chute. Neither is beautiful in itself; both are part of why common areas in a building like this can stay clear and uncluttered.
Inside the homes
The flats Binga has seen share a consistent language: expansive open-plan layouts, finished to a high standard, clean and contemporary rather than ornate. The three-bedrooms have three bathrooms, and at least one of the units listed through Binga came with a dedicated laundry and utility room, which keeps the washing out of the kitchen and off the balcony. It is a small thing, and it is what makes a flat look composed on an ordinary weekday.
What the record does not say
The catalogue does not name the developer or give a completion year, and the desk has not checked the floor plans room by room. What it does say, consistently, is that this building was planned around air, water and shared space. For a tenant, those are the three things that are hardest to add to a home later.
