Reethigas Residence is one of the more approachable addresses on Reethigas Magu: a three-block, sixteen-storey condominium of two hundred homes where the rent buys a well-planned flat, a secure building and a walkable street, rather than a list of shared facilities. The four homes Binga has listed here this year show what that looks like in numbers.

All figures are asking rents as listed through Binga, not achieved rents. The home available today is the fully furnished three-bedroom with a private terrace, listed at MVR 45,000 a month (asking, September 2026). It was built as a 2+1 deluxe unit, and its "+1" room works as a third bedroom, a child's room or a home office.

Reading the band

Two-bedroom homes here have been listed at $1,500 a month, and a semi-furnished three-bedroom at $1,800. The terrace home is priced in rufiyaa; at the pegged rate the desk uses in its rent guide, roughly 15.4 rufiyaa to the dollar, MVR 45,000 is a little under $3,000. The difference reflects its larger floor area, the full furnishing and, above all, the private outdoor space.

Furnishing moves the price, as the desk's furnishing guide explains. The semi-furnished three-bedroom came with a fitted kitchen, pre-installed air-conditioning and a private balcony, and, by the guide's definition, the fixed items rather than the loose furniture: a good fit for a household that already owns its sofas and beds. The fully furnished two-bedroom let in July suited someone arriving with a suitcase.

What the building provides

The developer lists what comes with every home: 24-hour manned security with CCTV, controlled entry, modern lifts to all floors, designated motorbike parking, building management, and air-conditioned living spaces. Inside, the plans offer open kitchens, separate laundry areas, attached bathrooms and balconies designed for natural ventilation.

What the sources do not list is as important for comparison: no swimming pool, gym or car parking appears in the catalogue for Reethigas, and the desk has not verified backup power, the service charge or the managing company. The fact sheet does not name the developer. Those are the questions the concierge puts to the owner before a viewing.
