Every home in Renaatus IthaaMuiy has been sold, which means the only way to live there is to rent from an owner. No IthaaMuiy home has yet been listed for rent through Binga, so there is no rent to quote. Here is what a tenant's money would buy, and what to ask.
What the building offers
A home in a ten-storey beachfront building of 73 apartments, designed by its developer to maximise daylight and natural ventilation and to frame views of the ocean. Penthouses with a wide ocean view at the top. Grounds with parking and relaxation areas for residents and guests. Commercial space on the lower floors, since it is a residential and commercial building.
The catalogue does not list a pool, gym or clubhouse, and the desk has not confirmed the unit sizes, the furnishing of any flat, or whether the building has backup power. Those are the first questions for any viewing.
What sets the rent
In Greater Malé, Binga's concierges quote homes from roughly MVR 15,000 to MVR 55,000 a month and beyond, with executive and new-build premium homes often priced in US dollars. Within that range, furnishing moves the rent first, then the building, then the floor and view. At IthaaMuiy, an ocean-facing penthouse and a lower-floor flat without the view will not be priced alike, and a furnished home will cost more than an unfurnished one.
Who built it
Renaatus, whose other projects in Binga's directory are Renaatus Javaahiru and The Skyside by Renaatus, both sold, and Renaatus Irumathi on Hulhumalé's eastern shore, still selling. Javaahiru's own description refers to IthaaMuiy as having sold out quickly.
